Thera Pearl Eye Mask For Dry Eyes

Even if you’ve slept a full 8 hours the night before, having dry or puffy eyes in the morning can make you look and feel exhausted. The Thera Pearl eye mask from Bausch & Lomb is a rejuvenating dry eye remedy that feels like a trip to the spa with every use. If you suffer from mild to moderate dry eye symptoms, puffy, or red eyes, the Thera Pearl eye mask can provide relief and be used in conjunction with other treatments.

What is Dry Eye Syndrome?

Dry eye syndrome occurs when the eyes aren’t properly lubricated, either due to insufficient or low-quality tears. Some symptoms of dry eye include:

  • Red, itchy eyes
  • Watery eyes
  • Photophobia (light sensitivity)
  • Stinging or burning eye sensation
  • Eye fatigue
  • Blurred vision
  • Difficulty wearing contacts
  • A feeling that something is stuck in the eye

If you suspect you have dry eye, contact us today. Dr. Kenneth Daniels will examine and thoroughly assess the source of these reactions, and determine whether Thera Pearl is the right treatment for you.

Thera Pearl Eye MaskInnovative Technology For Dry Eye Relief

The innovative technology behind the Thera Pearl eye mask allows it to have both a hot or cold setting for targeted relief. The tiny pearls in the mask are made to absorb and deliver soothing heat or coolness as needed. The mask covers the entire eye and upper nose area for maximum relief. It’s simple to use and easy to clean.

How Do I Use the Thera Pearl Eye Mask?

To use the Thera Pearl eye mask in its cold setting, simply place it in the freezer for 2 hours and then lay it over the closed eyelids for no more than 20 minutes. Remove the mask and wait at least 20 minutes before re-applying. Use the cold mask to provide soothing relief for puffy and tired eyes or to alleviate headaches.

To heat the Thera Pearl eye mask, place it in a microwave for 10-15 seconds, and keep heating it in 5-second increments until it reaches the desired temperature. Once removed from the microwave, test the temperature of the mask before placing over the eyes, and then lay it over your closed eyelids for no more than 20 minutes at a time. Use the heated mask to provide comfort for dry eye and blepharitis, or to assuage styes and nasal congestion.

Make sure to gently clean the eye mask using a mild soap after every use.

Should I Use the Thera Pearl Eye Mask?

The Thera Pearl eye mask is made with non-toxic materials and is free of latex, BPA, and lead, making it the perfect choice for people with sensitive skin or eyes. If you are experiencing any dry eye-related discomfort, we recommend you get assessed for dry eye treatment by Dr. Kenneth Daniels.
